Hey guys I just got employed by a robotics company and was asked if I could figure out some communication from a 3d mouse. Let me expand on this.

Mouse brand:

3D connexion space navigator 2.0

What I am to achieve.

When you tilt the wheel left, or right on the mouse I need to be able to know what's being sent to the USB communication port.. for example with a simple standard mouse if I move the mouse forwards left or right ... and I want an LED to light up when moving on x axis, or an led to light when moving on the y axis ... only with a 6 axis mouse.

I'm going to revisit many of the tutorial videos to get active with flow-stone once again only whats cool is I get to do this for my work. Any help would be highly appreciated.

I do apologize. I probably didn't make myself clear on what I was wanting to achieve.
After installing the mouses driver and playing with the mouse. It doesn't work like a standard mouse.
After further digging I found the company provides an SDK for intergration purposes.

To the admin, you may close this post. As it has taken a different direction and I'm not sure how or if flow-stone will be applicable to what I'm trying to do here.
