I really like flowstone, and I just want to know how to use inputs and output attached to the ruby element. Like how to I get the value from the input and send out the output. I probably just overlooked it in the documentation, but I can't find it. Thank you.

The info you need is in the User Guide, chapter 8 (not the Component Reference document).
When I was learning about Ruby I found this so useful I printed out chapter 8, so I could add my own notes.
