Alpha beta filter

Lately I was playing with filters and I have ported alpha beta filter. Optimized asm version (code version included).

I was rather looking for more humanized explanation... This one (on wiki) I don't understand because it uses vocabulary I'm not familiar with and it's for math geeks, not for ordinary people.

thanks trojak! sounds great, i really like it! never heard about this concept for filtering - straight in to my toolbox!

@ tester: have you read the result on the wiki site? - it explains it ni easy words what it is doing and how it works also with nice pictures ;)

for me filtermaths is a big science too... maybe this free books can help you to understand it better..

Regarding that wiki article - my english is rather directional, not to mention vocabulary used itself. On the other half - pictures don't tell about sound difference (like between chebyshev, butterworth, bessel filters). Thanks for links, will check on it too.
