Searching in Synthmakers Forum this 64bit thingy is all-ready talked about and requested back in 2005.
So don't think it will ever come. Same counts for MAC support.
It just won't.
Best options: Learn C, plus how to implement VST dsk, plus a gui maker
or any language were the vst dsk can be implemented.

what happen to GENERA?
It evolved into a robotics platform....
No, really, I haven´t been able to work on that project as much as I´d like. Currently it´s awaiting some surgery because of some changes I want to make to the underlying architecture, but it works nevertheless.... it even runs on Linux and the Raspberry Pi - and yes, it can interface with external hardware via the RPi pins, so robotics is not too far away. And I recently got a Mac - I really want it to run on Windows, Linux (x86 and ARM) and Mac. The problem right now is time... and of course money, because every hour spent developing it is time not spent on some other project, or family. So as soon as I get enough money to send the family on vacations a might finish Genera! Or at least give it some saving capabilities - right now it won´t save anyting, so everytime I want to try something I have to rewire the entire thing over!
Maybe I should try kickstarter?

In the meantime, great news from Jeff and SE:
Jeff just said that implanting mac exporting capabilities (au) is almost done, but is still using the generic "vanilla" gui.
That means the next step will be working on the graphic's elements. So...Maybe we will get our cross-platform system already this year
Now, we just have to convince jeff to expand the "adopting external dll" feature, just like DSPR did, so we can work
in parallel with both platforms, SE\FS and get our cross platform plug-ins; 32BIT+64BIT+AU formats.
just think about it: using FS for developing and SE for exporting. not sounds bad at all, ah?

I don't belive you will be able to export a flowstone dll using synthedit...
Why Malc didn't work with jeff instead of dealing with ski-pro-man with nomind... You know who i mean.
