Implementing 64bit version is a bit tricky. For example 64bit system uses 64bit RAX instead of 32bit EAX, which renders all assembler component codes form 32bit version totally unusable. So... I'm not really surprised it takes so long (assuming they are really working in it).

It does not have to be ready.
Just say you're working on it.

and after that everyone will ask when is it ready?? When will be a beta available??

And then after or before say you are finally handling the WAV issues totally supporting the standard with all start -stop- loop etcetera points.

Question: So i would like to buy the FS if will be next update, but is FS steel alive or not? If not, it's waste of money with the 12 months updates. Really not have anybody who know a positive info?
Developers: Just a little post. Yes, we working on the 64 bit, yes we working on the new improvements.
I think it's important. SM and the FS it's a very very good development tool. Maybe you expand locally. For example i can go into technical universities. The robotics is really saleable product. Or if the developer build a complex software with his own development tool and merchandise it, it's publicity. For motion capture and controll camera system, home automation, industrial control equipment, etc.

I still belive that can be possible to export 64bit native plugins without rewriting all the program.
Maize sampler does VST 32/64 and AU too... Ok it's simpler, but is reasonable.
