Well maybe they got some complications to solve. I think it is better to take time to release a stable runing software than releasing it now an throw thousands of updates to the market

For the developement of VirtualDJ 8 all admins and mods never told any releasedate. It is done when it is done

when you pay in advance to get the update, they can not be made when you want,
the developer must make clear on this.
have at least minimum guaranteed releases,
and with the participation of the buyers would be nice,

Well i hope that they will provide updates in future after your Time hase run out but you'll get the next release if it was announced officialy when you was in-Time. This sounds fair, but this is a thing that totaly depends DSP-Robotics
We will see in future.

Instead of speculating - send them an e-mail and just ask a simple question: "when we can expect the next update, that was announced recently on support forums?" or something like that. Less complicated e-mail - more probable the answer. More simple e-mails (clear and determined/assertive, but without imposing "the only right view of the world") - more probable, that the things will get better and better.
