In the mood 4 sharing. My 4 VST as OSM's 4 U :)

Post by tor »

I have been SM idle for a loong looong time. So I thought maybe I should share my four "finnished" plugins. Please use it freely, but credits are welcome ;)

As always credits also go to:
Andrew J for the OS toolkit.
Robert Bristow-Johnon for the EQ cookbook.
Shifrin for porting the RBJ recipe to SM code.
Trogluddite for lots of general help.
I dont remember from who I got the bode plot :/

Cheers tor - and nice to hear from you again :D
Hope you are having fun with whatever has eaten your SM time! ;)
All schematics/modules I post are free for all to use - but a credit is always polite!

Didn't have much time to do more than take a peek inside a few of these ...

Particular interest in the EQ ... looks great !

I couldn't imagine how much time it must have taken just to wire up that one module

Thanks for letting us see inside 'tor' !!

You are very welcome.

trogluddite: Thank you! :)

I'll be back ;)

*Edit: One more thing. You might wonder why I put the up sampling before the four first bands. It is simply because of the saturation and feedback part of the design. The four first bands process the signal in double precision and because of SM/FS limitations it is not possible to do proper oversampling there. But they work in frequencies low enough so the oversampled filter that shuffel the samples is not necessary as in the four next bands in the high frequency spectre. So every second "oversampled" sample is processed parallel.

...looks like an "on purpose modification'.

Or - the future of where flowstone goes. Looks that they have nobody to fix this and/or develop (php based?) websites.
