If you do see any "normal" people showing up on the forums, you should immediately report this to a moderator - we can't be having that kind of behaviour going on around here!

This synth sounds so good!

I was playing with Randy+ yesterday, creating some presets and really felt the need to modulate Noise with ADSR (or even better to have it's own ADSR for Noise section).

Maybe it's already implemented and I'm using older version?

Cheers,
JR

I initially tried to make the Filter env available in the Mod bank, but the EGs are custom-coded jobs by Martin and it didn't play well with the other kids in the sandbox. :( (I probably just don't know enough about packing/unpacking).
Maybe someone else can have a go - one thought I had was to link the Filter EGs' sliders to a hidden, separate 'normal' ADSR just for mod purposes; I just didn't want to clutter the GUI with a dedicated mod EG.

Thank you Kevin - good point!
It just feels like this synth could benefit from noise's filter/amplitude modulation.

Cheers!

I see what you mean. The DSP part is easy, however the GUI would get all messed up.

Hi Martin,
Yes, I understand - GUI is pretty compact... There is some place in the MIDI section though.

An idea I had was to have 1/2-mini knobs below the Mod Bank, for a mod EG; and just extend the bottom of the GUI a bit.

Here is a version with noise envelope. Thank you Julian for suggesting this.
Edit: fixed Tilt filter normalization.

Very cool, Martin - I incorporated this into to the most recent update rather than the earlier one you used.

I also added a button to bypass the Noise EG for operation as in the original, and another to bypass the Noise Comb Filter. Now calling this v1.02 (with revised Spectral Tilt Filter).
