Cassette player

Now here's a novelty for you. Load a wav file and play it on this retro Philips cassette player. The animation is really cool! Plus, you must try the fast forward and reverse keys :D

Spogged: Loaded a 30 second test file (which is why this is 20 megs). Fiddled with the "tone" filter settings.
Note that the Record key isn't connected but I bet someone will make that work...
Also a click sound for the keys would add something...

Giraffe knob

Here's another novelty for you. A knob which is a chewing giraffe. Cute or what?

Spogged: Fiddled with the properties for the knob and the demo counter.

Constantly rising tone

I've always been fascinated by this sonic illusion:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shepard_tone

The author has made a module which creates configurable Shepard tones. You can use the LFO or even play the effect on your MIDI keyboard. Fool your brain!

Spogged: Nothing

Peak hold dB readout

A readout of the peak audio signal level in dB.
To restart the readout you left-click on the display. The evaluation is in ASM.

Spogged: Added a test environment.
Added a reset input.

Question: Is this calibrated or just for indication?

Author: Original unknown but this has been updated by Mo for ASM

EDIT 24.2.16: I found another one with a better Reset input. Not tested by me.
