New Flowstone user here

Post by SampleScience »

Hi guys!

I'm a new FS user, just bought it, and wondered if you could show me your most current FS creations? I remember what was possible with Synthmaker ten years ago, but now? What people are doing with FS? Feel free to post links to your creations, plugins, softwares made with FS. I'm really curious to know what people are doing with it nowadays.

Cheers!

Hi and welcome!

There's so much been posted on here since I joined about 15 months ago.
My own creations can be found if you search for Quilcom. These are only hobby-grade stuff but I've had a lot of fun making them.

Have fun

Thanks! So people don't have websites like it used to be with SE and SM back in the days? Browsing the forum, I have a hard time finding any websites with pictures of FS user's plugins.

In any case, I hope the community isn't dying. :?

I'm not aware of any websites that the current crew have with projects on display. Maybe someone will chip in and correct this impression. Otherwise it's down to trawling through the many posts to find the gems. And there definitely are gems here.

There is a core membership who post and contribute frequently and there's some truly great talent here, especially for DSP and Ruby. There are many forum members who will download stuff but never seem to even comment, let alone participate. I call them the silent many.

I definitely think that the community isn't dying (based on my time here) but a bit more contribution from the silent many would be a blessing.

Cheers

You may also want to check out Flowstone Guru. Many valuable building blocks and working examples, and a wealth of information. If you are after finished products you might find more stuff over at KVR Audio. But it's more fun to create your own. ;)

Yeah, I just want to see what people can make with FS these days. I see that the program has been update until December 2015, which is quite recent.

Hello Nix,

How have you been? Thanks you so much for sharing these fsm's, they are really nice. You have really created some fantastic things here. How come we do not see much from you anymore? Did you just get burned out with Synthmaker?
Well any way great hearing from you and I am sure many newbies will truly learn from these and also maybe even some old timers.

P.S., I also like you websight. Great job, well done.

Again thanks, BobF.....

Heya bobF 8D

How's yourself?

I've been alright, some family stuff- but we're hanging in there.

I still use FS every second day,
I just don't have any project briefs I want to realize.
All of the catalogue there needs more work, so I think my upcoming FSing will be that-
bugfixing and improving.

I am truly inspired by my and Oddson's 2SYN MIDI guitar device. Have been playing it non-stop,
and just got a new 8 ins USB soundcard which will run on anything(even I have a little Mac now).

Thanks very much for the message, was nice to wake up to.
I am not one of the wizards, an intermediate(IQ wise too IMO) who persists.

Cheers mate, ur very welcome, ty! !

Here are the 2 synths by me and Johan(djbrynte) that are the latest things I have done->
