Multipage GUI

A rather elegant scheme for creating a multipage GUI.

Spogged:
Added preset support.
Added a Preset Manager to test and demo.
Note: The buttons are bitmaps but it should be easy to substitute other types where you can re-size, set colour etc.

A Christmas card

It's a bit late or, alternatively, a bit early.

Sophisticated Wave Player

I found quite a few "tape" players and Wave players but this one is my favourite (so far, in the trawling procedure).
The more I investigated the more I found that I liked. For example when you load a file all the wav files in the folder become accessible from the front panel, but only the one selected is loaded. You can set start and end loop or play points with increment buttons for exact positioning. You have variable speed and reverse play and also MIDI polyphonic playback control alongside the manual controls. There's even a MIDI note number displayed when you play.

Spogged:
The properties view was messed up (maybe a file conversion issue?) so I re-organised it.
There were 2 stream outputs labeled stereo left and right but not connected inside so I deleted them.
Loaded a Cello loop for testing with the ASIO out Prim.

Synthmaker manuals

Here are the 3 official manuals released by Outsim for Synthmaker:
Component reference
Tutorials Guide
User Guide

So, why might you have any interest in these?
-Some Prims have been renamed for Flowstone but not documented correctly, e.g. the VST Parameter Array Prim, so if you find an ommission in the current docs it's worth having a look at the old one.
-The tutorials guide is excellent for those into audio and new to the app, giving clear examples and progressing with design. Still relevant for Flowstone, unless you want to make Ruby-controlled robots!
-I find the format of these PDFs a bit easier to work with.

Digital timer controls

Here are 2 controls for setting a time in minutes, seconds and milliseconds. Just drag up or down on the relevant range sections and the resulting integer ouput is in milliseconds.

Spogged;
I found 2 of these clearly by the same author. There is a LCD and a LED version and I've put them both in the same schematic.
I rigged up a demo/test assembly using a counter and a trigger counter and someone's excellent Ruby-based custom tick module to give a 1kHz trigger.

Scanner: waveform morphing

Jeez there's some deep dark magic going on in this one!

The main module is able to smoothly morph (not mix) between all the connected oscillators. The amplitude is maintained at all times making this a superb main oscillator with an infinite range of variable waveforms (limited by the source oscillators of course). The code is in ASM so is probably optimised. Using Martin Vinacek's oscillators would further optimise CPU useage.
I found it fascinating to hear the effect as shown on the included scope as the scan/mix knob is turned.
This is so cool I'm tempted to make an orange synth with it

Nice to see someone doing this Spogg!

I have been away from flowstone for a while so it is good to see the place still active and that the interest is still there!

btw a couple of these schematics are mine - movable guis and round menu!

cheers for posting these again!
