This is one for the "scientists" out there!

The author has provided scopes which show the effect of 8 types of interpolation rules. There is a switch for freezing all the scopes and a level knob to assess the effect at various amplitudes of sine wave. The interpolation itself is done in modules inside the scopes. Nice educational post I'd say.

JBM Himyar synthesiser

Really nice looking and sounding synth. One of the things I really like is the huge range and number of presets the author has made. I do know this can take ages. The layout makes it intuitive to program and all the important stuff is there. Well worth checking out!

Spogged:
Added a clipper to the output.
Changed Re-trigger stolen to True.
Set the preset manager to Lock (to preserve the authors presets when first fiddling about).
Resisted the temptation to replace oscillators with Martin Vinacek's for reduced CPU. This would be worth doing if you want to use multiple instances in your DAW.

Sick Theremins

These make good use of the Swinger posted above. You swing the ball around and this blends and morphs formants (vowel sounds) to give many and varied speech-like sounds (or a cat in one case!). If your mouse passes over a corner where the formant sound is selected the formant selection changes.
There were loads of versions of this project. Some didn't work for me. I've selected 4 that worked and offered good variations of the theme. They are fun to play with and create some wonderful sounds. There's a lot of clever stuff within these modules I reckon.

I noted they have a record button that doesn't work and I haven't explored why not so far. Maybe some kind soul could have a look at this but, out of the box, they are well worth checking out.

Sample Loader

This really nice control takes up very little screen space but allows you to choose one sample from a folder and all the wav files in that folder are then put into a dropbox menu scheme. You can then use the menu selector button to choose the file you want, or go through them one by one using arrow keys.

Created a test environment using a wave player and a preset manager and it works fine. Each preset includes the full path so you can create individual presets from different folders.

Bit crushers

Here are 4 "bit crushers" I found in separate schematic posts. One has an extravagent GUI too! They appear to create discreet steps in a smooth input wave. Step size is adjustable.

Spogged: The smallest sized module came with a test environment so I copied the others into the schematic so you can compare the results sonically and also visually with the scope. The one with the GUI seems to create a completely different effect to the others.

Authors: The small one is by mHz, the others unknown.

Simple but great idea to choose what you see and also, if you want to, to route MIDI and audio etc.
An alternative to tabs or buttons.
