Btw, while looking for the last link, I also stumbled upon this, which I think you will find very helpful for rotary encoders.

Well Trog . . . if you can't reverse engineer your own work what chance have the crackers got? . . . not a bad thing. :D

Very interesting post Tula . . I may have to re-visit my early work . . . i'm sure it can be greatly improved . . . watch this space :)
