Phonics open source builds

Post by nix »

Heya-
I'm thinking of going open source hey.
For now I'd like to share this schematic->

Master Brynte did the graphics and structure-
I chopped back all the unnecessary complications.
IMO it looks real funky, and the layout is ready to become more complex
in a good way. The architecture seems like a sound one to me.

Hope you like it- looking for any comments you have

edit-just a couple of small fixes I did have been linked now. MIDI learn mousing and a lost wireless
edit2-now included a 3.0.4 compatible version->

EDIT->
--so I have decided my work will live on after me if a few of you d/l it.
I have upped it to Flowstone Guru->
http://flowstone.guru/downloads/phonicsvst/
There's about 10 different VSTs in there,
you can look at them at www.phonicsaudio.com

Nice look NIX !

tried to load it up in older FS [3.0.4] ... a bunch of RUBY errors ... looks like the KNOBS modules.
Something with the 'widthPIXELS'

I forced it into 304 RJ,
see the first post for the .fsm

It's a very simple synth, but I hope you might find a use for it.
Thanks for the UI comment, Johan is really quite good by now

Hi NIX ....
back again .... dL'd and tried again. Unfortunately the same widthPIXEL error is showing in all the KNOB modules :|

Ahhhhhhh .... it is BEAUTIFUL :D

No really ... She loaded fine 8-)

Thanks for doing that ... I'm not much on synthesis, but it is nice to see and check out the sounds.

Not sure what this can do ... seems to be 2 distinct presets, a synth and a shaker sound. They sound good !

.... and a very nice GUI. Will play some more.

Thanks NIX
8-)

Oh cool it loaded 8D
I haven't written any presets for it really,
the first one just makes a sound atm hehe

The waveforms are from Virus C

Ur very welcome RJ, nice to see it's getting downloaded-
it's how I get kicks hehe
Does anyone want to write some presets?
And any feature requests?

As to what it can do- IMO it's sorta tech-oriented maybe.
You should be able to get some reasonably diverse sounds with the matrix.
I should write 32 presets.

Cheers!

Heya Walter!
Nice to catch you.
I'm going fine, thanks-
spending a lot of time on the computer recently.
How are things at your end?

You're welcome, I hope some of the bobs are usable,
and some of the plugs are keepers.
By RGB- you mean colour?
Yeah, I mean to get around to making them less sombre.

freQ and Phenomen, Sync-- these ones have a dash of colour,
Have a look at the graphics on freQ and Sync, if you like UIs people.
These one's are done so nice by Grymmjack and Kenny Buck

Cheers mate 8D
