Problem with viewing video recorded from Webcam

Post by ups2000 »

Hi Guys:

I have a quick question regarding playing recorded videos. I have recorded a video from a Logitech 920 HD Webcam, and saved it to the hard drive using the Video Save Feature. I can view it using any video viewing software such as QuickTime or Windows Media Player, but I cannot stream it into Flowstone using the Video Stream function. The file can be pretty large, up to several hundred megabytes, but I have been able to load even larger types.
Does anybody have ideas as far as why this is occurring, or of any way to fix it?
Thank you.

Maybe the file path is wrong?

You have d:\PK.mov , it might need to be D:\PK.mov

Thank you for your suggestion. The apparent problem was the bit rate for the video that was saved using the Webcam green from flowstone was just to high for video streaming. I used QuickTime Pro and saved with a lower bit rate, and that modified file could be viewed using Video Streamin green in Flowstone.

Thank you again!
