Forum search problem.

Post by Attic »

It would be nice if we could search the forum for the words midi array and ruby.

The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: array.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards

Seriously this should be fixed.

Try with google, like this:

Code: Select all

your words "your phrase" site:http://www.dsprobotics.com/support/

And you can customize the google (100 hits per page for example).

That works. Thanks Tester. :D I still think we should be able to search these in forum.. but I can live with the solution. I should have thought of something like that, but I didn't ..so it's a nice little trick to know.

It looks that there is general problem with searching on this forum. While forum search tells that there is no such a word like "comparing", google finds it without problem.
