Re: ROXY - In Defense of Myself
Hi dj,
Thanks for taking the time to write.
Yes, Spogg is a nice guy, I chat with him on other sites also.
I understand what you're saying about tulamide, he's a little too private for my liking.
I checked his facebook page, nothing but a few pictures of wolves. Nothing.
I am wary of people who ...

ROXY - In Defense of Myself
Hi gang,
Some really nasty things have occurred here in the past few weeks.
A culmination of those events has led to a final post by Spogg, copied and pasted below.
"Final", because Spogg has locked the thread, leaving me unable to defend myself.
Here's the post, and my defense below it ...

Re: Oscillators
Thanks for your feedback, guys.
@Roxy, as Adam pointed out, the green division is only ever carried out when you change the green-yellow-red thresholds of the LED. On the other hand, it doesn't hurt to use *0.05 instead of /20, and you never know in which other context your modules might be used ...

ROXY's Instant Envelope Follower Demonstrator - CORRECTED
Hi Gang,
Yesterday I posted my Instant Envelope Generator, which is INCORRECT.
I labeled the Program Output as "C.V." (Control Voltage) and forgot to include the necessary control voltage output entirely !
If you downloaded it, trash it, and upload the CORRECTED version HERE, no charge !

Re: Oscillators
Hi Martin,
Looking at your latest oscillator, I notice your peak meter, which I tested and it's spot on, as you may imagine.
No surprise there.
I would suggest adding a pulse counter like mine so that you can count pulses that flash so fast the human eye misses them.
If you're interested, I'll ...

ROXY's Instant Envelope Follower Demonstrator
Hi gang,
Many of you I'm sure wonder what goes on inside modules labeled with esoteric names like 'Envelope Follower'.
Then when you open 'em up, you see what I see.
Code.
Oh goody.
2 years into the books to find out what's happening, bad idea.
I don't know modern code either, but don't despair ...

Re: New Synth
Hello Phil,
I see, if you want to learn more about oscillators, I did a few demonstrators a while back.
I've attached my Ring Modulator demonstrator for you to play around with.
They have some very unique possibilities that you may enjoy.
Best regards,
ROXY

Re: New Synth
Hi Phil,
Since you have a limited knowledge of electronics, let's look at your Moog emulation project from a black box perspective.
There is a wealth of information on the web about Bob Moog and his synths, look at a block diagram,
and consider the blocks as black boxes with labels on them.

Re: New Synth
Hello anyone,
I am more than a little confused about this discussion that has been going on for a couple of posts.
From what I am being sold as a consumer of vst-instruments by professional companies, I understand that
yes indeed, folks do model electronic circuits in a software environment. One ...
